Stewed apples with cinnamon

Ingredients
- 600 g Red apple varieties such as Gala and Pink lady
- 0.25 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Filtered water
Instructions
- Peel and core the apples. Note: You can leave the apple peel on. it adds beneficial nutrients, The peel will stain the apple flesh.
- Cut the apple into wedges or bite-size pieces.
- Place the apple with the cinnamon and water into a saucepan,
- Bring to a simmer than cover the pan with a lid and cook until apple is soft and translucent; about 10-15 minutes.
- Spoon into bowls and serve warm or pop in the fridge to chill.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
